Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
- Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper
- Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proven selling skills
- Clean and professional appearance
- Valid drivers license with good driving record
Job Duties
- Diagnose residential and commercial plumbing issues
- Educate customers on plumbing parts and products
- Sell and preform a multitude of plumbing repairs for residential and commercial clients
- Understand and adhere to local codes
- Preform preventative maintenance and inspections for service agreement customers
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management
- Keep a clean and presentable company vehicle
